About Michael Gaffley

Michael Gaffley worked with abused youth. He worked with the Mandela government in the post apartheid era. He developed Organizabonding, a leadership and organizational capacity building model facilitating the comprehensive management of the human capital investment in organizations. Repositioning, reframing and relating with people to celebrate diversity is his forte.

Flatline To Change: Identity, Reality Conflict, Engagement. Product of South Africa is his first book.

I have embarked on a tour to engage faculty and students in dialogues about race on university campuses. I define diversity as the cooperative of people who bring a variety of biological, spiritual and social backgrounds, styles, perspectives, values, and beliefs as assets to groups and organizations in which they work together to energize and enact the organizational mission.

In spite of the predictions of the prophets of doom, South Africa recently hosted the successful FIFA World Cup 2010 and smiled as the prophets of doom saw all their predictions fail as the World Cup did not disintegrate into the chaos they had foreseen. Many had to acknowledge that South Africa is not a jungle with world class soccer stadiums.
